How do you think you will do this semister in your english class?
Cne Ross, a freshman, had plenty of opinions about english for this semister.
Ms.Ross' english teacher is Ms.Reeves, whose class is located in the S.O.C. building.
On January 11,2010,Cne expressed hoe she wanted to remain a good student in Ms.Reeves class.
The ninth grader also said she would like to improve in one particular area in english.
"I really want to perfect my brainstorming skills,"said Cne Ross,freshman at Jack Yates HS.
Cne strongly believes she will pass the reading TAKS test with flying colors this year.
Although while at Ryan Middle School, Ms.Ross had an english 1 class during her 8th grade year.
The freshman said what she thinks everyone needs to succeed in any english class.
"I really think all you need to pass english is to know how to read and write,"Ross says.
Cne does not want to be in any english 1 class other than Ms.Reeves class.
"In my opinion,Reeves is an exellent teacher,"the ninth grader says.
Ms.Ross' favorite subject just so happens to be english.
Cne Ross,when asked what she thought was the easiest subject,thought english was the easiest.
"You really have to be very creative in english as far as writing goes,"Cne, a JYHS attendent, said.
